Mountain Lion Hunts

Mountain Lion, Wolf, and Bobcat

We hunt Mountain Lions, Bobcats and Wolves in the River of No Return and the Selway Wilderness.  Idaho is a fantastic area for mountain lion and wolf hunts. The hunting pressure in Unit 17 is so low that it is a two lion area and 7 out of the top 10 Boone and Crockett Cats have come from here.  We have more road access in the wilderness than any other outfitter in the state and specialize in trophy Toms.  If you want a shot at a “book” cat this is the place.

It is also a two wolf and unlimited bobcat unit with reduced non-resident lion tags for $41.75 and wolf tags selling for only $31.75 each.  See latest information at Idaho Fish and Game Bobcat tags come with your hunting license.   If you ever wanted to have an opportunity to harvest a wolf this is the time and place.  We can hunt wolves incidentally to trapping baits, call them with the latest electronic calling technology and spot and stalk.

Our guided mountain lion and wolf hunts are run from our deluxe Main Base Camp at the headwaters of the Selway River.

You will stay in heated wall tents and enjoy hearty meals served family-style. We provide everything except your license, tags and personal gear. Mountain lion and wolf hunts in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness offer you spectacular winter scenery as well as a wide variety of wildlife in its winter range…a real photographic opportunity.

Combination Hunt

We start the morning checking our nearly 40 miles of snowmobile and mule trails for fresh tracks, then the chase is on!  Later in the day we can set up and call in wolves for you to shoot.
